Internships

Each summer Save The River employs interns looking to gain experience working in a grassroots environmental non-profit organization. By assisting with a wide variety of tasks summer interns will work with staff to help accomplish specific projects and initiatives aimed to advance the mission of the organization.

The positions run from mid May through Labor Day.

There really is no better way to spend a summer - on the water, in the storefront, working on the frontlines with Save The River / Upper St. Lawrence Riverkeeper protecting the River!

Founded in 1978, Save The River is a non-profit, member-supported environmental organization whose mission is to restore, preserve and protect the ecological integrity of the Upper St. Lawrence River through advocacy, education and research. Since 2004 Save The River has been a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance as the Upper St. Lawrence Riverkeeper.

The Waterkeeper Alliance is the world’s fastest growing environmental movement, with more than 200 local Waterkeepers patrolling rivers, lakes and coastal waterways on 6 continents.
