We envision a healthy Upper St. Lawrence River that provides swimmable, drinkable, fishable water, is home to a thriving range of native species and supports economic activity.
The St. Lawrence River is the third longest river in North America, flowing 744 miles from Lake Ontario to the Gulf on the St. Lawrence. As the only outflow for all the Great Lakes, there is an incredible responsibility to make sure this waterway is protected. Learn More About the St. Lawrence River Ecosystem >
Save The River is the leading grassroots advocacy group working to protect the Upper St. Lawrence River. We take an active role in River policy issues, conduct outreach advocacy campaigns, and monitor water quality and wildlife. Learn More About Us >
