September 17, 2024 by STR_Admin

Save The River (STR), the 46-year-old environmental watchdog for the St. Lawrence River, recently promoted a staff member.

Caryn Clements has been promoted from Office Manager to Program Coordinator. Caryn joined Save The River in 2022 after making the permanent move to Wellesley Island where her family has summered for over 20 years. After her promotion to Office Manager, she assisted with various programs and outreach events and gained invaluable knowledge of the environmental issues facing the River.

She grew up in New York state and enjoys exploring the North Country and Adirondacks through hiking, kayaking and camping. As Program Coordinator, she looks forward to sharing her love of the St. Lawrence River area while implementing Save The River’s current programs and initiatives that support our mission through advocacy, education, research and stewardship.
