Save The River believes that education is the key to understanding the local environment around us.
On The Water is our field trip component, designed for grades k-6, that brings the classroom to the River. On the boat ride, students learn about aquatic habitats, wildlife, invasive species, and much more! Students also receive the opportunity to explore local landmarks, participate in hikes, and other activities.
Floating Classroom is our NEW education program where grades 7-12 can gain STEM experience in the field. Students will be learning about local history, performing a variety of lab experiments centered around wildlife and invasive species, building datasets, and learning about citizen science.
