August 12, 2025 by STR_Admin

The Smallmouth Bass Catch & Release Photo Contest is going strong in the first few weeks with two entries highlighted so far. Anglers will be highlighted throughout the summer for the efforts to protect our Bass populations on the St. Lawrence!

Submit your smallmouth bass catch & release photo to our summer contest on our website. All entries can choose a prize from the prize basket as a small thank you from Save The River for showing us how to catch & release.

Sisters Sawyer and Lennox caught this bass off Oak Point in June. Fun fact: their Dad, Nick Edwards, won our Dan Tack Muskie Catch & Release Tournament last year too!
Nolan C. is visiting the Thousand Islands from North Carolina and caught this smallmouth near Summerland! We’re so happy to see him getting a taste for fishing on the St. Lawrence.
