On The Water is our field trip component, designed for grades K-12, that brings the classroom to the River.
On the boat ride, students learn about aquatic habitats, wildlife, invasive species, and much more! Students also receive the opportunity to explore local landmarks, participate in hikes, and other activities.

Is On The Water right for you?
Save the River’s On the Water program works with Clayton Island Tours to provide a memorable and educational experience on the river. An In the Classroom experience is a prerequisite. Once this prerequisite is met, our On the Water program is available to you! We are happy to work with you to make sure all students have a safe and enjoyable time on the water.
